About Leake Street

Leake Street History

Established in 2018, 26 Leake Street is located in South Bank, minutes from Westminster and Waterloo Station. Within its first six months, it became the top choice for uniquely styled events in London. This beautifully restored urban chic venue features three arches and a working bar, situated in a vibrant cultural centre. Born from the legacy of Banksy’s “Cans Festival,” which transformed the underpass into a graffiti and street art haven, 26 Leake Street has become a hub for creativity and community engagement, hosting events that showcase diverse artistic talents.

Watch our video to explore how this iconic underpass became a celebrated canvas for street art and a hub for creative expression. Don’t miss out on the story behind the artistry – click now to watch!
